Fash and Design Project

The fashion industry is an industry that is extremely very competitive. To be successful in this industry, you must have great creativity, talent, artistic skills and ability to create awareness about clothing culture. Only if you succeed in all of these then can you have surety on creating a sustainable business in this field. This is one of the projects Equal Compassion is running in this region. Through this initiative, we are supporting these young mothers in order to empower them with these life-long skills that can help them build a secured future for themselves, their families and their community.

With the help of this project, teenage mothers will be able to learn essential skills in different designs, fashion styling, embroidery, pattern making and much more. They will also be able to acquire computer skills such as digital literacy and how to use modern soft ware tools. The ultimate goal is to equip these young women with employable skills either in organizations or in their own businesses. One of the top components of this training is to encourage our students to utilize their new skills to be agents of change and development in their own communities and country as a whole.
